Udupi : The Syndicate Bank Half Marathon organised by the Udupi District Athletic Association was participated by hundreds of enthusiasts on March 10, Sunday.  Kota Srinivas Poojary, minister for Ports and Muzrai, flagged off the rally participated by over 1500 people.. As many as 1,750 people took part.

Chandrashekar Hegde from Udupi district Athletic Association, Mohandas Shetty, Lilly Jay, Prof P D Poojary, Niranjan Rao, Dr RoshanKumar Shetty were felicitated on the occasion.

Among others present were Deputy Commissioner Dr MT Reju, SP Dr Boralingaiah,  DySP Prabhudeva, Legislator K Raghupathi, Syndicate Bank General Managers PK Saxena, Anil Kumar. Balakrishna Muddodi and others.

The marathon was conducted in various categories.
