Bantwal: Working president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), Dinesh Gundu Rao has said, the alleged involvement of former excise minister HY Meti in a sex scandal has shocked the congress party and chief minister Siddaramaiah.

The incident hurts the government and congress party and the state administration has nothing to do with the scandal.

The former minister was speaking to the media persons this morning here in Bantwal prior to a party conference.

The party including the senior leaders have deeply worried over the incident and congress has no relation with the incident as it is a personal issue of HY Meti.
