Udupi: Minister for Fisheries, Sports and Youth Affairs Pramod Madhwaraj said that he will work efficiently for the responsibilities given by the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

He was addressing the gathering at Udupi Town Hall in a felicitation programme organized by CMC, Udupi.

“The CM has kept hope on me and Priyank Kharge and inducted us into his Ministerial board even though we both are selected for the assembly for the first time,” he said.

He further said that Leaders of Udupi like T A Pai, Oscar Fernandes and others helped me to grow in political field. I will work honestly for the welfare of this district.

“We are planning to make one effective plan for thesupply of drinking water. Rs 300 crore will be sanctioned for KUDCEMP for the UGD work,” he added.

CMC opposition leader Dr M R Pai said that the opposition will support all the development programees carried out by the government. Pramod Madhwaraj and his family have done lot of things for Udupi.

Academic Council member of Mangaluru University, Amrith Shenoy, UUDA President Narasimha Moorthy, ZP Member Janardhan Thonse and others were present.
