Mangalore: We are please to inform the Mangalore public and all fellowmen that Ideal ice creams manufacturers on innumerous Ice Cream product in our city as, announced by Mukund Kamath, MD of the well-known ice cream selling Company in city at a Press Conference on Tuesday December 10 here.

Mukund told Press persons that his company secured 5 prizes in an all India contests for various types of Ice creams produced by over a hundred companies selected for their quality and popularity in market and organized by Indian Dairy Association at Gurgaon in Hariyana, a predominantly cattle owners’ state near Delhi.

Mukund told that his company had won prizes for, for ‘vanilla ice cream’ (best product), ‘vanilla ice cream’ (gold medal), ‘vanilla frozen dessert’ (gold medal), ‘best chocolate’ (silver medal), and ‘innovation’ (silver award).

There were 500 products of Ice Cream in all varieties which entered the computation and were selected for consideration of judges. However Ideal ice creams came out a winner in 5 categories including the “best product” for Vanilla on show. This has never happened before and we congratulate Prabhakar Kamath, Ms.Jaya P Kamath and Mukund Kamath for their strenuous efforts to keep up a high quality in ice cream production all these years and bringing a name to Mangalore as the best producer on an all-India basis.

The prize winners were announced at a grand valedictory ceremony held in the presence of more than 150 guests including Dr Rajeev N Vaidya, president of South Asia and Asian DuPont, Brian Johns, president of South Asia DuPont Nutrition and Health, K L Arora, secretary of IDA, North John’s.

Sudhir Ghate, MD of Magnum Inter graphics was present on the occasion along with owners of Ideal Ice-creams.
