Mysore: The final exams of II PUC will begin tomorrow with students appearing for Political Science and Statistics exams. The authorities have already completed preparations for conducting the examination which includes depositing the question papers at the treasuries of districts and taluks and writing roll numbers on desks. A total of 6,15,870 students are appearing for the exams at 984 centres across the State, of which 188 centres have been identified as sensitive and 70 hypersensitive.
A total of 2,41,539 candidates will appear for Arts stream, 2,05,002 for Commerce and 1,73,829 for Science. Among the candidates appearing for the examinations, 3,16,360 are boys and 2,99,510 are girls.
To help the students who have problems with the admission tickets or exam centre or discrepancies in the admission tickets, the Department of Pre-University has set up an exclusive helpline (080-23468740/41).
The helpline will be active till Mar. 27 from 8 am to 9 pm.
