Moodbidri : A second PUC student of Alva’s College, Moodbidri has ended her life by hanging herself in her hostel room on June 12, Wednesday.

The deceased is Swaroopa (17) hailing from Gadag.  It is learnt, she had scored 86 per cent marks in I PU exams. It is suspected that  she was frustrated as she could not get the expected marks. This is learnt to have driven her to suicide.

The Moodbidri police who have registered a case have informed Swaroopa’s family members.
