Mangalore: Excise officials, in a surprise operation, have arrested three employees of Ganesh Travels on the charges of transporting illicit liquor by bus from Goa to Mangalore. The arrested are Vishwanath, Ashok and Venkappa. Nearly 40 bottles of liquor which were found inside the bus has been seized. Police have also seized the bus.

There is now a strong suspicion that this sort of illegal transportation might have been taking place since some time. Details are awaited.
