Belthangady: Air force flight which went missing after taking off from Tambaram airport is not yet found by the air-force wing. Even after continues search operations the flight was not found. It is termed as first such incident in entire world.
Though the air force has stopped the search operations, no confirmation has been received by the family members of Ekanath Shetty, who was present in the ill fated flight. He was former army personnel and later after the retirement he was deputed to air force. The family members of Ekanath have received a letter from army court regarding the enquiry of the case. The court of enquiry has been concluded.
The official confirmation of not finding the flight is yet to done. First of all the army court verdict will be sent to the Chennai police commissioner, after receiving a confirmation from commissioner, defence minister and PM may jointly announce the verdict by September 21. After that Ekanath’s family will receive compensation from army and the government.
