Mangaluru: Two brothers were arrested here on Sunday for running an illegal slaughterhouse at Addur near Bajpe on Sunday.

The accused have been identified as Mustafa (27) and Majeed (23) from Addur.

T.D Nagaraj from Bajpe Police Station raided a house at Addur and had seized 16 cattle along with a Tempo Traveler On June 16, a Duster car, a Ritz car. The two had fled from the house and the police were on a look out for them.

It has been reported that the two used to buy cattle which were stolen.
