Mangalore : Yasin Bhatkal, Indian Mujahideen co-founder was in hiding at some secret destination in Mangalore. It is said he had even been to places including Haleangady, Ullal, Chembugudde and Mukkachery along with Riyaz Bhat, Iqbal Bhatkal and Naushad with the objective of luring local youth to IM.

In Udupi, Yasin had stayed in a lodge and some associates met him there. NIA also revealed that eh got Ammonium Nitrate used in the blast from Mangalore

Recently,t h NIA had arrived in Mangalore along with Yasin and Asadulla Akhtar alias Haddi,his associate and the two had shown their hideouts to the NIA.

A private news channel has even reported that IM used to get money from Pakistan through Western Union Money transfer and it was collected in Mangalore and Haddi is learnt to have shown the outlet to the NIA officials.

Four years ago, police had found two explosives in a house in Ullal. It is learnt, Yasin had also participated in a rally organized by one of the two associations in the region with which he had maintained contact It is learnt, police have been observing the movement of the leaders of these associations.
