Mangalore : The Indian Medical Association (IMA) House hosted a workshop on ethical practice for doctors at IMA Hall on June 3, Saturday.

Participating as the chief guest, DC V. Ponnuraj, urged the doctors to quit their profession, if they do not commit themselves to it.

He also said that, as per requests of other doctors, the similar rules and codes will be implemented and all the professional doctors have to follow it without fail. He also asked the doctors to follow the code of the medical profession and be sincere in their profession.

Delivering the presentation on the occasion, Dr. Sudesh clarified the between ideal medical practice and currently practices used by the doctors.
Dr. Mohandas Bhandary, president of IMA and Dr. Jagannath were also present.
