Kasargod: Many cases of infectious diseases including Dengue have been reported from Kasargod Town panchayat premises. Patients are rushing to General hospital. As many as 14 patients of Dengue have been admitted in the hospital till Monday.

The local people are saying that the Dengue mosquitoes are increasing in the area. The panchayath should take enough precautions about the Dengue.

Nearly 1000 people from Chengala, Mulyar, Madhoor and Mogral Puttur grama panchayt had visited the hospital regarding different diseases. Many people were seen waiting for their call in a queue.

General Hospital is the only hospital which provides Dengue tests, so the patients are rushing in the general hospital. The hospital officials had said that 15% of the patients might have admitted in private hospitals.
