A woman found murdered in a house at Panjimogeru

Panjimogaru MurderMangalore : A woman was found murdered in a house at Panjimogeru in Kavoor police station limits here on Wednesday July 30. 

The deceased has been identified a coolie worker Annapoorna (32), wife of Fakeerayya (40).

The suspicion is that she might have been killed by her husband who is now absconding. The murder came to light on Wednesday morning.

Panjimogaru MurderThe couple’s two children are studying in Koppal and the couple had been staying at a rented house in Panjimogeru.

The neighbours went to check when the door stay closed, and saw Annapoorna lying motionless.

Annapoorna had filed a complaint against her husband in Koppal police station, after which the couple shifted to Mangalore.

Stab marks were found on the neck and stomach of the deceased woman. The cause of the murder is not yet known.

ACP Ravi Kumar and other police officials arrived at the spot. Kavoor police have registered a case.
