Mumbai: The multi-national T-20 tournament arranged by BCCI, Mumbai, in its fourth year known as IPL-4, will have its opening match on Friday at Chennai, between Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders owned by Shah Rukh Khan and duided by Saurav Ganguly.
The new series will have as many as 74 matches over 51 days. 5o cheerful girls have arrived from South Africa, to make IPL-4 a cheerful cup of tea for the viewers. 10 teams play at 13 venues, and each has 14 matches to go through. Foreign players from several countries have also reached India.
The schedule of matches had to be revised in view of Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Assam, Kerala and Bengal.
