Mangalore: The Indiana Hospital at Pumpwell in Mangalore has been accused of receiving large sums of money from corona patients. The Corona patient has been charged a bill of Rs 1,98,664, following which the Indian hospital has made headlines on social media sites.
The hospital have been charged nearly 2 lakhs for the Corona treatments. Following the complaint, the Dakshina Kannada district administration team including DC visited the hospital on Thursday July 16, 2020.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Minister in charge of the district, Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLA Vedasavam Kamath, Deputy Commissioner Sindhu B. Rupesh and the team of health department arrived at the hospital and inspected at the hospital.
The hospital director, who has clarified about bill, has said that he will provide the details to the government soon.
