Kundapura: After months of waiting, the Indira canteen at Shastri Circle here was inaugurated by the district in-charge minster Dr Jayamala on Wednesday, November 21st.

Speaking with the media the minister said, “1.40 lac people in the state are benefiting due to Indira Canteens. Udupi district has received four such canteens. The success of Indira Canteen has made us think of mobile canteens especially for visitors of patients.

The food is cheap here and it helps in generation of jobs,” said Jayamala.
