Mangalore: The DK district administration is doing all it can systematically to prepare for impending 17th National youth Festival in Mangalore from January 12 to 16 . A Sikkim batch of over 100 students has already arrived. Another 5,000 delegates from states and centrally administered areas are coming by train and other ways. They will be welcomed at city Central Railway station and an information centre is set up there for their guidance, indicated DK Dt. DC, Dr. N.S. Channappa Gowda on Monday.

The Sikkim batch arrived on Monday afternoon, and officials conducted them to various colleges where they would stay. Boys and girls are given separate accommodation as arranged.
