Mangalore : Noted theatre artist Devdas Kapikad released Ksheeranjali, an infotainer directed by Sithesh C. Govind, at KMF in Kulshekar on Nov 16, Friday.
Ksheeranjali, an infotainer that relates the success story of milk, was made under the children’s film category under the banner of Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), which had taken up the initiative of educating the younger generation about dairy farming and inspiring them to take it up as a career.
The aim of the infotainer is to inspire young people, who are increasing concerned about getting into professions such as medicine and engineering, to take up diary farming. It also marks the differences between the younger and older generations.
Sithesh Govind said that Ksheeranjali is not a commercial movie, but an infotainer meant for the education of young children. The film has already been sent to 39 schools across the district and the movie makers intend to reach out to 20,000 children. The film lasts 90 minutes, with artistes Gopinath Bhat, Naveen, Grishma, and RJ Vishwas playing lead roles.
