Mangalore : The Institutions Day and Graduation Day of Fr Muller Charitable Institutions were celebrated on March 13, Wednesday at Fr Muller College premises.
Dr HS Ballal, Pro-Chancellor of Manipal University, who was the chief guest, said though nearly 65 per cent of the population fo the country was below the age of 35. He said only 13.5 to 14 per cent of the youth are attaining high education in the nation and was not satisfactory. He also stated that learning was a continuous process.
Deputy Commissioner N Prakash who was also present as a chief guest said medical profession was a noble profession and said patients should be the priority of the doctors. Fr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore who is also the President of Fr Muller Charitable Institutions, presided over the function.Dr Anjali K P, a graduate, spoke on behalf of all the 564 graduates.
