Bangalore: An international Yoga, Naturopathy and Health convention, having over 5,000 representatives from 30 countries, will be held on Feb 09, 2012 in city, at a cost of Rs. 4 Crores, with an exhibition and funding facility from the Centre and Karnataka Government as announced on Tuesday by health Minister S.A. Ramdas here.
He added that the UPA Government is providing Rs. 85 lakhs and state BJP government Rs.2 crores, and the balance will be collected from various sponsors delegates of 6 countries are expected to arrive soon, he said.
About 300 stalls are being set up in the exhibition for show and sale of various items, in the city at the venue.
Over 500 representatives will debate various health issues, and/or give lectures on Yoga or Naturopathy.
Cine artiste, dancer, Rajya Sabha MP, and BJP vice-president Hema Malini and Art of Living guru Ravishanker will be among the dignitaries participating in the conclave the minister informed Pressmen.
