Mangaluru : The new ‘International Bunts Welfare Trust’ will be launched in the city on Saturday. Shri Devi Group of Institutions Chairman A. Sadananda Shetty will be the chairman of this new trust.

Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, Mr. Shetty said the trust will be independent of the Bunts Yane Nadavara Sangha and has nothing to do with the Sangha.

The launch of the new organisation will be day-long affair at the T.M.A. Pai Convention hall.

District in-charge Minister B. Ramanath Rai will launch the trust. This will be followed by ‘Yaksha Hasya Lasya’, a humour programme by Yakshagana artists; a culture programme by students of Alvas Group of institutions; Yakshagana Byalata; and Mr. Bunt and Ms. Bunt programme.

The day-long programme will come to an end with musical evening by Guru Kiran and his group of musicians.
