Mangalore : Various schools, college and associations voluntarily cleaned up Panambur beach to mark the International Coastal Cleanup Day 2014 on September 20, Saturday.

The programme was organized to spread the awareness among the people on beach cleaning.

The event was initiated by district administration in association with government and non-government organizations, schools and colleges and Coast Guard personnel.
