Ullal: “District administration should consider falling ill of more than 150 people in Ullal region after eating head of ‘Chemberi’ fish case seriously,” said food and civil supplies Minister U T Khader.

Three days ago more than 150 workers of a fish mill were fallen ill suddenly after eating the curry of ‘Chemberi’ fish head. All of the workers were admitted to a private hospital at Mangaluru.

Some were admitted as OPD patients and some due to the serious illness admitted in IPD. Still some people haven’t discharged from the hospital.

“The issue should be considered seriously and the district administration should find out the reason behind the incident,” he said.

He further directed the district administration by saying that a meeting should be called in which officials of fisheries department, health and police department and food department should be involved.
