Mangaluru : ISKCON devotees in Mangaluru staged a protest in unique way at Arya Samaj Road on Tuesday, October 26, condemning the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.
The devotees sang kirthans of Lord Krishna in protest of attack on Hindus.
Speaking on the occasion Karunyasagar Dasa, president, ISKCON Mangaluru, said, the Hindu community has been attacked in Bangladesh. Temples of ISKCON and other organisations were vandalised, Deities were smashed, Puja pandals of Durga Devi were burnt. Such attacks on the Hindus and other minority groups in Bangladesh have been going on for decades, he said.
Sanandana Das, Rohini Suta Das, devotees Haricharan Das, Dinesh Pai, Narasimha Prabhu, Umesh Rao, Somashekhar, Nikith and others were present.
