Mangalore : Ivan D’Souza, secretary, KPCC is likely to nominated as the member of Legislative Council by Congress. His name was already in the list of candidates. Sidharamiah, chief minister, Karnataka had sent his name along with four other to the Governor for his approval.

Ivan D’Souza said to media for the post of nominated MLC, as directed by the party.

District Congress interim president, Ibrahim Kodijal, said DK congress committee recommended Ivan D’Souza for the Legislative Council representation. The high commend decided giving a representation in the Legislative Council from the DK district.
