Mangalore: The body of Jacintha Saldanha, a nurse in England who reportedly committed suicide   after she attended a prank call,  arrived in Mangalore by a Jet Airways flight on the afternoon of December 16, Sunday. Jacintha’s husband Benedict Barboza, children Junal and Lisha too arrived.

It may be recalled here that Jacintha who was born in Mangalore, but resided in Shirva after she was married,  had ended her life reportedly due to humiliation after she had attended the hoax call from Radio Australia to enquire the health of Kate, wife of Prince William.

The body has been taken to Manipal and from there it would be taken to the Shirva residence of Jacintha. The funeral procession will be taken out from her residence to the Shirva church and the last rites   will be held at  4 pm on December 17, Monday.
