Hyderabad: Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of former CM late Rajshekhar Reddy, after a long tiff with Congress Leadership, which even took K. Rosiah out of saddle as CM, has at last resigned as MP and quit the Congress Party.
The 37 year old rebel in Congress circles in Andhra could not become CM after his father’s sudden air crash death and left Congress after humiliation of his family. His mother, an MLA, also went out of Congress, with him.
He had defied Congress High Command directives to conduct on “Oderpu Yatra” in Andhra districts. His TV channel Sakshi, had attacked Sonia and Singh with or without his knowledge openly. He admitted that there was a “witch – hunt” against him in Congress.
Jagan’s followers welcomed his exit from Congress, as about 25 MLAs are in his camp and he could topple the present govt or form a new party.
