Mangalore: A mix of Indian, Russian and African artistes in the ring is what is exciting about the good old (1977)Jumbo Circus, re-visiting Mangalore in a second unit, at MCC exhibition grounds near Lalbagh, boasting of a Hawai Jhoola (a swing in sky) and dangerous acrobats.

The great Circus was inaugurated by new Mayor Gulzar Banu Sheikh, who sat through the 150 minute opening show, out of 3 in a day.

The Jokers and some saluting players kept the crowds laughing or gaping. There is a fish –Swallowing act, parrots pulling a cart, plates Juggler, hoolahoop, and many other feats to enjoy.

MLA Abhaychandra Jain spoke on the exciting occasion. Ivan D’Souza and Amitkala(Dy . Mayor) were present.
