Mangalore: The city unit of Jammiyyatul Falah distributed scholarships to nearly 17 students at a function held at the organization hall on November 3, Saturday.

Sheikh Akhtar, NRI entrepreneur, said quality education is a must for the students to excel. He also exhorted the students to have a definite aim and goal in life.  Sheikh Karnire, another NRI businessman, Pushparaj, journalist, MM Azeem, Secretary, Nazeer Ahmed, Treasurer, BS Mohammad Basheer, President of the city unit of the Falah, and others were present.

Already, the Falah had distributed scholarships to 23 students pursuing SSLC, PUC, degree and professional courses.
