Bangalore: Mining baron and former minister B Janardhan Reddy will have to remain in jail for a few more days. His judicial custody period has been extended till July 2 by a CBI Court on Monday, June 18. Even the judicial custody of Reddy’s personal assistant Mehfooz Ali Khan,  has been extended. The case is pertaining to illegal mining by the Associated Mining Corporation and Deccan Mining Syndicate owned by Reddy and his wife Aruna Lakshmi. The accused in this case also include former  minister and Congress leader V Muniappa.
