Bangalore: Mining baron and former minister G Janardhan Reddy will be produced before the JMFC Court in Sandur for the first time on August 17, Friday in connection with the case pertaining to destruction of the State boundary and for issuing life threats to mining baron Tapal Narayan Reddy.
Reddy, who until now was housed in the Parappana Agrahara Central Prisons in Bangalore was moved out and taken to Bellary jail on Thursday night. Tapal Narayan Reddy had in September 2006, lodged a complaint with the Torangal police, against Reddy for threatening his life. Reddy did not appear in the court, in spite of 10 warrants being issued against him. However, the first accused in the case, Ramachandra Reddy had questioned the warrant and had filed a writ petition in the High Court.
