Mangalore: Sri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated across the district today, August 9, while the most popular Mosaru Kudike celebrations will be held on August 10, Friday. Janmashtami is celebrated today mostly by Hindus with North Indian connections, while those following the Tuluva Panchanga will celebrate it on September 8.
