Bangalore: In the meanwhile, the Chinnaswamy stadium is getting decorated like a bride facing her marriage day. On Feb 27 India faces England in an ODI here as apart of World Cup encounters. The Cricket Council led by Javagal Srinath as KSCA General Secretary, has not started its sale of tickets when they are not hot and sale could be brisk, with just a week away.
However an unknown vendor was selling tickets at the Stadium for the Feb27 match! He sold tickets given by Council members. The Police recovered 80 tickets from him and arrested him. Those who bought tickets from the vendor are in a quandary. This fake vendor had sold some tickets in black market, said Vigilant Police officials. The National Cricket Council had not yet given certain passes to KSCA members, but they were available in Bangalore through the vendor on sale! This has led to wonder in KSCA members. Srinath and his counselors have to wake up and face the situation to avoid scandals in cricket match management afresh.
