Udupi: Congress candidate from Udupi- Chikmagalur constituency Jayapraksha Hegde filed his nomination papers as on Wednesday, March 26 at Udupi Deputy Commissioner’s office.

Jayaprakash Hegde was accompanied by union minister Oscar Fernandes, his wife Blossom, minister Vinay Kumar Sorake and party leader Motamma. He submitted his nomination papers to Dr. Muddu Mohan at Udupi.

Speaking to the reporters Jayapraksha Hegde said, People noted the work I have done in past months. I am sure that they will support me this time also. I am confident of winning by a margin of around one lakh votes.

Party activists are working day and night for me and the party’s victory. People of this constituency will surely choosing me again. He added.
