Moodabidri: H.D. Deve Gowda inaugurating a JD-S convention of 2 coastal district here on Sunday, Feb.12, stated that his party did not believe in cartelistic polities but was committed to the progress of a whole state. 4 team would be informed to tour 30 district in Karnataka to reach people he added.
The former PM and party Supremo informed his listeners that he had resigned his office thrice and did not brother about power, he told activities at the inaugural function of the convention. He said if JD-D came to power he would look after it from a distance away from active politics he promised. He told party men that he could set in Parliament these days due to scandals and attacks by BJP which is in turmoil. He praised DK voters who would certainly change and choose right persons in 2014. he asked activists to bring back his son HDK as CM next by ensuring a thundering win for JD-S in next polls. A rally was held from thousand pillar basadi to the venue with JD-S leaders in open jeeps.
Deve Gowda arrived when as the welcome song was being rendered by the students of Rotary English Medium High School. The programme began two hours late.
