Mangalore: JD-S is setting foot on Coastal districts in Udupi and Mangalore, even Moodabidri, Jain Centre.

A convention of Janata Dal-Secular group workers of DK will be held in Moodabidri on Sunday, February 12, according to K. Amarnath Shetty, former Janatha minister.

Talking to Press at Hotel Woodlands near Jyothi Circle, Shetty informed that a bevy of leaders(MPs) would attend the district meet to strengthen the party at grassroots in Coastal region.

B.P. Yetnal and MP Cheluvaraya Swamy would be chief guests of the convention to be inaugurated at 10-30 AM(morning), with late S. Bangarappa’s name given to the dais.

Madhu Bangarappa, youth leader and Mahendra Kumar(incharge DK-Udupi) and MLC Abdul Azeem will address the people.

Corporator Aziz Kudroli, DK secretary  Vasantha Pujary, JD-S General Secretary M.G. Hegde were present.
