Bengaluru :  Revenue Minister Mr R Ashoka met former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Saturday to discuss on the tie up for the local bodies.

Later speaking to the media, Mr Ashoka said, “I had received a call from JD(S) MLA Mr Sa Ra Mahesh in the morning and hence we both met Mr Kumaraswamy. He is positive on tying up with BJP for Doddaballapur CMC. However, as far as Kalaburagi corporation is concerned, JD(S) has called for a meeting on Monday where they will take a call. However, I am hopeful and confident of getting JD(S) support.”
