Mangalore : Former prime minister and JD(S) chief H. D. Deve Gowda, the former prime minister and JD(S) chief, in a press meet said that the party will be strengthened throughout the country because he will campaign in all 30 districts and nominate candidates in all constituencies to strengthen the party through out the country.
He said that the BJP and the Congress are the two faces of the coin and both are equally corrupt. Present chief minister DVS is functioning in full freedom, he added.
He suggested that JD (S) candidates must not be nominated for Bellary and Koppal by-elections since BJP is in profitable situation, hence he aims to make his party strong right from the grass-root levels.
Commenting on the illegal mining, he said when Kumaraswamy was in power, there were complaints against S. M. Krishna which were included in the party’s election manifesto in 2004 and the party’s request to form a special court to investigate was neglected.
JD (S) activists illegal mining, Mohammed Kunhi, Deviprasad Shetty, M. B. Sadashiva, and Vasanth Poojary were also present.
