Mangalore : Sudarshan Shetty Permanki, President, JD(S) Mangalore (North) constituency said that he is not quitting the party as publicized by the newspapers earlier.
Speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on Apr 9, Tuesday, he said that during the mass resignation of the party, the JDS leaders who have conducted the press meet said that he along with Chief Secretary Hakeem Vamanjoor will also quit the part, but is false, he said.
He also said that including the both, no other member from the Mangalore (North) constituency unit have resigned for the party. There is nothing to do with the confusion took place in district unit and the constituency committee, he said.
Permanki said that they have sent the list of candidate’s names including Dhanraj and Ghulam Mohammed along with his name to State President H D Kumaraswamy. Further the member of the party will respect to the decision take by JDS chief.
JDS leaders Hakeem Vamanjur, Rafiq, Thempanna Shetty and Rajeev Shetty were present.
