Bangalore : JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda said on Wednesday that his party would neither have an alliance nor try to have any kind of understanding with any party in the upcoming elections.
Speaking after inaugurating the party’s election office at Basavanagudi in Bangalore, he said the party would contest all 224 Assembly constituencies on its own strength.
He dismissed rumours that the party would have an understanding with the BSR Congress.
Both, the Congress and the BJP are opponents of the JD(S). The party workers need not have any confusion in this regard, he said.
Meanwhile, the party has appointed K H Kumar as its spokesperson with immediate effect, said a press release.-DH news
