Mangalore : JD(S) honorary president of reception committee Shashiraj Shetty Kolambe said that JD(S) will hold massive convention at Abdul Nazeer Saab auditorium, Central Maidan, Farangipet on Saturday, Feb 2 at 2.30 pm.

Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Woodlands on Jan 30, he said that Karnataka Pradesh JD(S) president H D Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the event, while DK district JD(S) president M B Sadashiva will preside over the event.

JDS leaders like M C Nanaiah, B Z Ahmed Khan, Iqbal Ansari, Madhu Bangarappa, Zaffrulla Khan, K Amarnath Shetty, Afsal Agha Khan, B Nagaraj Shetty, Shakeel Ahmed, Shivalinge Gowda, S L Bhojegowda, Elias Santis, Sureshchandra Shetty, Prasad Babu and Sushil Naronha and many others will participate as the chief guests.

Earlier to the convention, the activists will participate in the bike rally to be held from Bunts Hostel Circle to Vidhan Sabha office in Falnir at 11.30 am and inaugurate JDS women workshop at 12.30 am.

He also said that on the same day, H D Kumarswamy will also address the press at one of the activists resident located at Karmar cross, Padil  at 1.30 pm.

JDS members like Mohammed Kunni Vitla, Haji Abubakker Natekal, Vasanth Poojary, Ratnakar Suvarna, Krishnappa Poojary and others were present at the press meet.
