Mangalore: Steven Rego, Journalist and sub-editor of ‘Vijaya Karnataka’ news paper Mangalore’, was selected for the ‘Siri Cinema Award 2014′

The Award is instituted by Siri Creations Mangalore and Chitra Sangama. The conferring of the award will be held in Bangalore.

His Regional film report were published in print media is chosen for the Siri Cinema Award – 2014.

Steven Rego received Mega Media Mangalore Journalism award for his article Rural Youth’s achievement in 2013. The report highlighted on rural youth’s achievement works.

Previous, Steven Rego bagged the KJ Shetty Kadandale Award and Pa. Go. Award instituted by the DK Working Journalists Union, in memory of the late journalist Pa. Gopalkrishna.

He is the son of Ignatius and Hilda Rego couple of Darandakukku in Puttur.
