Mangaluru : DK District Working Journalists’ Association paid tributes to Journalist Humaid Hussain in a condolence meeting at Press Club on April 9, Saturday.

Haimad Hussein (29) who breathed his last due to a cardiac arrest whiel trekking to Charmadi Ghat on April 8. Hussain hails from Raichur and from past one year he was a correspondent of Prajavaani at Mangaluru.

Hussain was sincere in his works and was a dedicated journalist known for his creative writings, his sudden demise has come as a shock us said, senior journalist Harish Rai.

His writings inspiration for young upcoming journalists said, journalist Guruvappa Balepuni.

Humaid severe chest pain and he was unable to go any further, it was indeed a struggle to bring him down from the hills and rush him to the hospital where he breathed his last,” said journalist Sathya.

Working Journalists union president Jaganatha Shetty Bala, Jayakirana news paper Prakash Pandeshwara, Information Officer Khader Shah and others were present.
