Bangalore : JR Lobo, Legislator of Mangalore South has made a request to the state government to conduct a re-investigation into the church attack case reported from various parts of the state during the rule of the former BJP government.
Speaking at the Assembly, the MLA said he was not happy with the report of the Justice Somashekhara Commission of inquiry and added the report has not been able to mention any accused, be it individual or organization., Even the name of political parties, if any which might have instigated the attacks, have also not been mentioned, he said and urged for a fresh probe.
The MLA has also sought an end to moral policing and urged the government to crack down goondaism on the pretext of moral policing.
Lobo further criticized the saffronisation of text books and said the text book committee should be revamped.
