Mangalore, January 19: Karnataka Cultural Art Foundation, Bangalore in association with Kalkura Foundation, Mangalore will jointly hold the seventh annual Akhila Karnataka Yakshagana Convention at town hall from January 27 to 29.
Speaking at the press meet held at Hotel Woodlands, Pradeep Kumar Kalukura, said that leading Yakshagana artiste K Govind Bhat has been selected to preside over the convention.
The three-day convention will mark he various demonstration of the traditional art of Yakshagana like Tenku, Badagu, Doddaata and Sannaata.
He also said that various discourses on the history and tradition of the art form will also be held on the occasion.
