Bhardwaj had sent a letter to CM seeking clarification on his land deals, but KSE stated that he was not surprised at all.
It may be noted that KSE also had secured lands for his own family members like his wife, as stated by CM much earlier.
The Governor sought details on Bellary Reddys group which faced tax evasion charges by hiding huge wealth earned in iron ore mining in 2008-09. The Governor had expressed dismay over not getting a reply from CM to his earlier letters enquiring on facts. The governor on his part told newsmen in an aside at a seminar that BJP had lost its way and sight in state matters of corruption.
