Mangalore : The Vishwa Hindu Parishat and the Bhajrangdal condemn the move of Congress leaders, who are taking political advantage to compensate the family of Kabir, who was gunned down by ANF police in Shringeri.

Speaking at the press meet held on April 22, Tuesday, Jagadish Shenava said that when the government is handing over major cases to CID probe, then what is the necessary to hand over the case of cattle smuggler to CBI.

He also said that the ruling party MLAs and ministers are protecting the cattle smugglers, by supporting the family with government compensation. The government projecting the Kabir as innocent is wrong, since he has charged with several cases them in Shringeri, Koppa, Chikmagalur, Suratkal and Karkala police stations.

He also urged the government to take strict action against cattle smuggling and slaughter and undertake impartial probe into the Shringeri incident.
