Mangalore: The Karnataka Christian Educational Society, Balmatta organized KACES Day at Bishop Jathanna Auditorium, Balmatta on July 6, Wednesday.
Kaces Day is celebrated as the birthday of late Rt Rev Dr CD Jathanna, founder of KACES.
D M Soori, superintendent of Central Excise symbolically inaugurated the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, DM Soori said that introduction of IELTS will be another feather in the cap. Further it will reach to the highest position and will contribute many achievers with shawl, citation, garland and memento.
He also said that, English is a language which is essential for interaction, economy and society. English has become the window to the world. Further KACES will emerge as the best English training course, he added.
