Mangalore: The CM Yeddyurappa announced a grant of Rs.1 crore to Kadekaru Kudru development, during his visit there, to facilitate lots of devotees arriving at the spot in an island in the middle of Nethravathi River by developing the area.
In charge Palemar said that there will be two river Launches at the green Kudru (island), to develop tourism in the region. Two machine Launches at Rs.50 lakhs will be purchased and applied here, and another Rs.50 lakhs will be spent on the greater development of the Kudru. These 2 works will be completed inside an year.
Press persons attending and minister in charge Palemar went round the Kudru on inspection, seated in a boat on Saturday to enjoy the greenery at the Kudru site.
