Mangalore : The Mangalore East (Kadri) police have successfully arrested Nepali thieves and filed a case against them on October 9, Sunday.
The accused had been arrested for theft in March 2010 too.
The arrested are Karan Khadga (37) of Pimi Bajhang in West Nepal who resides in Thokkottu for the past 18 years with his associate Gyanendra Singh (20) from West Nepal.
The police after arresting the duo have solved a case registered at the police station, for the theft of valuables worth Rs. 1.15 lakh, two laptops, and a mobile phone were stolen from Target Marketing Services, a business belonging to P. K. Kushalappa Gowda at Kadri.
Khadga and his gang have been arrested for several counts of theft including the theft in taken place in March 2010 moreover, he is an illegal immigrant.
Karan came to India in 1993 and married Sita, and also created fake documents to get a voter ID. He also owns a house in Someshwar received under the government’s Ashraya scheme.
